CHARACTER TRANSFERS ・ Character transfers are free and a character can be moved once every 7 days. ・ To be eligible for a transfer, your character must meet the following requirements - Level 15+ [does not apply to characters on designated Trial Shards] - If under level 40, the maximum Platinum that you can transfer with is capped at 3 Plat per character level. - Your account cannot be Coin Locked - You cannot have mail left in your mailbox, or auctions left on the auction house/pending bids. ・ Initiate a Character Transfer from the Character Select screen. ・ Not all shards or factions will be open for transfer at a given time; this will change based on population balance. ・ If your name is not available on the desired shard, you will be prompted for a rename prior to moving. ・ Once you accept the transfer, it will take several seconds to complete. ・ For information on transferring your guild [as a guild leader], or joining your guild after it has moved, see below under GUILD TRANSFERS. Bosses and events that used to drop Ancient Sourceshards now drop Crystal Sourcestones, and items that used Ancient Sourceshards for purchase currency now use the Crystal Sourcestones as well. Existing Ancient Sourceshards will be converted automatically. - Prices of lesser essences purchased with Crystal Sourcestone have been increased due to the higher drop rates. ・ Additionally, Raid Rifts have their rewards updated as well - Raid Rift essences have been improved in power. - Raid Rifts now always award one Inscribed Sourcestone to every member of the opening group. - Raid Rift daily quests now award 6 Inscribed Sourcestone. - Ancient Sourcestones no longer drop, and have been replaced with Inscribed Sourcestones. LOOKING FOR GROUP ・ The random dungeon cash reward now scales with your character level. ・ Players entering a dungeon instance via LFG will be unable to use the LFG system again for 10 minutes, or until the group defeats the first boss in the instance. ・ The first player to quit an LFG group before the instance is completed won t be able to use LFG again for 30 minutes, although it will take pity on groups that have had repeat wipes. ・ The Enter/Leave Dungeon option now only works when none of the dungeon party members are in combat. ・ The Group Formed popup now displays what kind of group you re forming - Rift, Dungeon, Quest, etc. ・ High-level players can use the Specific Dungeon tab to queue for low-level dungeons if they want to assist some lower level players through the instance. ・ When leaders queue their group for LFG, each member gets a popup confirmation window for which roles they want to fulfill. ・ LFG party leaders who lose a player and miss the initial replacement popup can now open the LFG interface to request another member. GUILDS ・ Due to changes in Guild Perks, all non-combat Guild Perk points have been reset. Life based damage over time effects heal allies for 25% of the damage done by the first damaging tick of the effect. The Mage cannot receive healing from other Lifebound Veil or Lifegiving Veil effects while affected by this buff. Does not trigger a global cooldown. Cannot be purged.This is obtained after spending 11 points in the Chloromancer soul. ・ Synthesis Now increases healing received from Lifebound Veil by 100%. Reduced cooldown to 10 seconds. This cooldown is shared with Lifegiving Veil and Lifebound Veil. Now applies or refreshes Lifebound Veil when cast. NECROMANCER ・ Life Bane Increased the bonus for Undead pet damage to 0.6-3% per point spent in Necromancer. ・ Deadly Plague Fixed the damage bonus given to Plague Bolt. Deadly Plague now gives Plague Bolt a 20-100% chance to apply an additional stack of Deathly Calling. Each stack of Deathly Calling on the target increases damage dealt from Plague Bolt by 3%, to a maximum of 15%. ・ Death s Ally Corrected an issue where this increased all damage instead of only Death damage, as described. ・ Grave Rot Fixed a bug where Grave Rot could target locations the caster did not have line of sight to. PYROMANCER ・ Inferno Now triggers a global cooldown when used. ・ Burning Bright Increased the bonus to Fire damage to 0.4-1.2% per point spent in Pyromancer for PvE damage. PvP damage uses the previous 0.2-0.6% bonus. ・ PVP The damage of Fulminate and Cinder Burst has been reduced by 20% in PvP combat. The damage of Inferno has been reduced by 10% in PvP combat. Patch Notes - Version 1.34.08.23 2012-02-24 Don t miss the new video tutorial link at the bottom of your launcher window! Notice We can t stress this enough. When the launcher is running the patch installer, let it run its course. It will take some time to apply the patch and it might seem like the installer is doing nothing, but it is working. If you reboot or kill the patcher process you run the risk of corrupting you installation, forcing you to do a full reinstall. Notice of DirectX update Make sure you are running the latest version DirectX to avoid issues. ADDITIONS AND CHANGES General Added friend system. Depletable node grid is now 3D instead of 2D. Fixed a typo in the "petition received" feedback message. Holding z while mouse overing the GUI frames will now bring up two sliders for setting scale and alpha on the Player, Target and Mount frames. Position, scale and alpha on the GUI frames will now save per character. Arrows shot from a mount will now stick in the ground. Changing the frames alpha value will no longer change the slider menu s alpha aswell. Fixed three node crashes in relation to magic casting. Changed the alpha/scale slider menu for the player frame GUI. Changing alpha will now only change the background of the playerFrame, not the bars aswell. Added a /resetui command that will reset your UI to it s default layout. Added a /friends that will open the friends menu (default key F). Improved the character-screen code, it should now be slightly faster. Removed the StarVault log and the EULA and reset pass button from the loginscreen. Added version number to the login-screen. Re-imoprted a larger version of the login screen logo to make it look better even at higher resolutions. Added support for whispers thou you can only whisper your friends. Added support for dynamic /w help in the chat-window. Typing /w and pressing UP will loop through your friends. Decresed the size of the compass. The last lore has been added to the character creation. Art The login scene and character creation scene has been updated. Water material is now working in dx10. More new carcass icons. Optimized terrain LOD shader and shorter to LOD distance for terrain shaders. This should not change visuals, only gfx performance. Fixed the very high depth of field that occured in bad weather. Reduced torch flickering. Skills Added a level down button for primary skills. AI Mounts The loyalty handling of pets has had an revamp and should work more accurately and robust. Max Loyalty of pets doesno longer decrease when health is low on pets. Spawners in general should now keep their correct spawn counts under any circumstances. Creature spawners has had an revamp and should work more accurately and efficiently. Pickable spawners has had an revamp and should work more accurately and efficiently. NPC spawners has had an revamp and should work more accurately and efficiently. Added pet name tag to murder namings when pet has been part of murder. Pets should now not be able to attack players in player houses and will abort an attack if target players enters a player house. Creatures of myrland can no longer discover players that resides in player houses. Pets are still able to attack other pets in player houses. Creatures should no longer jump back and forth when battling. A distance between stable master and pet is now checked when trying to stable the pet. Max distance allowed is currently 10 meters. Combat Changed magic network traffic for less lag. BUG FIXES General Added Fledgling flag to GUI target frame. Cleaned up and fixed a lot of the UI-flash related issues with focus. Pressing Z should now correctly give back focus to flash-UI. ESC will now close flash-ui too before it opens the mainmenu. Cleaned up a lot of the server-crashes we had had during the last week. Fixed a bug that made it possible to infinite stack in the bank. Fixed a bug in the login-code that made it impossible to re-login if the server was full/down. Fixed a couple of crashes. Fixed a bank related client-crash. Fixed an issue that made it possible to ressurect with to much max mana. Fixed a typo in fishing. You should now be able to target ghosts when casting Transcendental Awareness again. Skills You will now gain xp in damage assessment when you use it. You will now correctly get weapon-skill XP even when thrusting with a weapon. AI Mounts Resolved issue, where creatures, npcs and pickable spawners spawned max avatars each time when a node crashed, resulting in many times more creatures than intended was spawned. Resolved an issue where creatures went frozen(stopped responding) after node crash. Resolved an issue where all creatures after node crash lost line trace checks possibililties. Resolved an issue where feeding a pet while crossing a node, could result in node crash. Resolved issue where no message was sent to tamer if pet got too scared in battle to continue attacking. Resolved an issue, where pets could attack from any distance to its target. Distance should now calculate correctly. Creatures should no longer at start of a battle slide forward stuck in animation, but now instead run normally towards its target. Resolved an issue where a pets loyalty was lost due to bugs at rare occasions. Resolved an issue where the loyalty of pets did not decrease at all while its tamer was offline. Note that when this now again works, pets will generally loose 1% per min of its max loyalty while their tamers are offline. Resolved an issue where tamer lost contact with pets at node crashes and other occasions. Tamer should now have more robust contact with their pets. Resolved an issue where battling creatures sometimes moved inside their target bodies. Housing Guilds Fix for entering houses after beeing dead. Fix for accessing chest from outside bug. Known issues May still be some issues with pets being frozen up. Try relogging.
